Call Parking

Call park allows a user to place a call on hold at a designated parking slot from which the call can be retrieved by anyone on the system.

To park a call:

  1. Press the Transfer button. The current call is automatically placed on hold.
  2. Dial 70.
    1. This is the extension that finds the first available parking lot.
    2. It will tell you audibly what parking lot it will place your call into.
  3. Press the Transfer button one last time to finish parking the call.

To retrieve a parked call:

  • Dial the parking lot extension where the call you want to answer is parked.
    • Parking lots range from 71 to 90 depending on your phone system.
    • You will never Dial 70 to retrieve a parked call.
